Enjoying the Sunshine

This weekend is starting off with a bang. The kitchen is smelling great as I have a made the Spinach and Artichoke Dip for the first time and then I have just made my first peanut butter buttercream to go with Easter cupcakes. Can we say YUMMY?? Hopefully everything will get eaten at this weekends Couple’s dinner so that we don’t have to bring too much good stuff home!

Just a quick note, the recipe on the back of the box of powdered sugar makes a very simple buttercream. I looked up multiple recipes and everything had all these extra ingredients to make a peanut butter buttercream. I just used the basic recipe on the box and added 1/4 cup smooth peanut butter. DELICIOUS!!!

Looking forward to Easter service and brunch with the family this weekend. Should be a good day. Otherwise a pretty typical weekend with grocery shopping and playing with the puppies. Now that the nicer weather has come out Levi likes to go lay on this one spot in the yard and is so cute!
